How to Start a Profitable Blog Course

DAY FIVE

The Intro:

Today we are going to talk about how to increase your websites traffic to increase your profitability.

I know i preach that you don't have to be a big blogger to make money which is true, however growing your audience will never hurt. If you grow your audience in the right way it should increase your income.

Today we are going to talk about:

  1. How to grow your traffic.

  2. Facebook Groups to join.

  3. How to use Pinterest as a blogger.

How do you grow your traffic as a new blogger?

So you have gotten to the point where you have gotten your blog ready to go, your ready for people to see it but how do you get people to your blog?

My recommendation is to start focusing on one our two social media accounts. I always recommend Pinterest, Facebook & Instagram.

Instagram is not needed, but it is a platform most of us use already and a good place to build a new audience by posting daily with hashtags, and being active on your stories.

Facebook is a great place to learn and connect with your audience.

The very best place for bloggers to grow traffic is on Pinterest. Pinterest allows for you to share a photo tied to a blog post, then when people click that photo they are brought to your blog.

Pinterest will show your content to both people who follow you and people who don’t so it allows you to build an audience outside of people who are following you.

How do you use Facebook for your blog in the beginning?

As a blogger you would want to create a public Facebook Page not profile. Here you will share all your blog posts with a photo and let people know why to read them. You can also share regular pictures, and videos to keep your audience engaged.

In addition you should join Facebook groups. Why should you join Facebook Groups? Say you have a vegan food blog it would be a good idea to join a Facebook group for vegans there you can share your recipes, blog and connect with your target audience.

How do you find Facebook Groups?

You can find these groups by searching for them in the regular search bar.

However while there are many Facebook groups their may not be one for your niche. However here is a list of Facebook groups where you can share you blog posts, and social media posts to grow your website no matter what your niche is:

Group 1: Blogging Boost

Group 2: Connecting Bloggers

Group 3: Bloggers Supporting Bloggers

Group 4: Stumbles and Shares

Group 5: Bloggers Social Media Support.

These groups are great places to share your content to get feedback on your blog, and create your initial audience.

How should you use Pinterest as a blogger?

Pinterest is the mac daddy of blogging. I am guessing it is probably how you found my website, and the reason you are able to take this free course.

Pinterest will change your life when it comes to blogging if you do it right. On Pinterest you are going to want to make sure you have a business account, and are pinning content from your website, as well as content similar to what you publish on your website but by other people.

You can find other people’s content similar to your blog posts by searching your blog posts title (or what you wrote about) and pinning things that come up to the same boards you pin your own content to.

If you want to know:

  • How often to pin on Pinterest.

  • How to have a profile people will be able to find.

  • How to have the perfect Pinterest profile.

  • How to make your pins more likely to be seen.

  • How to convince people to purchase from you using Pinterest.

I created a whole course called Pin It To Win It the course is everything you need to know about Pinterest and it’s currently $25 off (which makes it $19)

You can click here to learn more about Pin it To Win It.
