How to Plan The Best Disney Springs Trip / Getaway.
Our Weekend at Disney Springs Orlando
If you know me, you know I love going to Disney World.
Whenever I came to Florida before moving here I had to go to Disney. Even if all I could afford was a trip to Disney Springs.
When I was visiting my parents for Christmas this past December me and my best friend headed to Disney Springs for the weekend. Which made me realize I should write a post on the best way to do Disney Springs for a weekend.
I am going to walk you through where to stay, how to get the best deals, where to eat in Disney Springs, and what to do while you are there!
Here is how you do Disney Springs in a weekend.
1.) Where to stay.
If you are going to Disney Springs I highly recommend staying as close as possible to Disney Springs. If possible I recommend staying somewhere close enough to walk because parking is always hectic, and it’s fun to be able to just walk back and forth between the hotel and Disney Springs.
Here are a few of my favorite places to stay:
The Wyndham Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs
This photo from their website!
This is probably my favorite because the hotel is very nice, it is literally pretty much inside Disney springs the hotel sidewalk leads you to the stairs which will take you into Disney Springs.
Here is why I love this location:
Its less than a 5-minute walk to Disney Springs.
Amazing pool, hot tub, poolside bar, and kiddy pool.
Often cheaper than area hotels.
Amazing gift shop, and cafe.
Firework views.
Super cute rooms, that are very clean.

Hyatt Grand Cypress

Hyatt Grand Cypress is great because you could honestly take an entire vacation and just stay at the resort. Which is something I love it is also close to Disney Springs.

2.) Where to Eat
So on my December trip I tried some new restaurants which changed things for me. Here are my top Disney Springs eats.

Now eating at Disney Springs is probably my favorite thing to do. There is so much delicious food here. You could spend days just coming to Disney Springs for each meal and never run out of delicious things to eat. My list of favorite things is always changing but here are my current favorite places to eat at Disney Springs:
Homecoming –
If you are going to be in Disney Springs for supper I highly recommend Homecoming, its southern food that comes in large portions. I recommend the fried chicken, mac and cheese and make sure you order the biscuits.
The Daily Poutine-
Everything they have is so savory and amazing. If french fries with some delicious gravy, and cheese sounds good to you definitely try it.
Ghirardelli –
Free chocolate anyone? each time you walk in you get a free piece of chocolate! Plus, they have the most delicious milkshakes you ever had in your life.
3.) What to do.
Now that you're full of delicious food what should you do with your days at Disney Springs? There are so many fun things to do at Disney Springs. This are a list of my favorite things to do or things that are on my to-do list for my next trip to Disney Springs:
Shopping:
Who doesn’t love shopping? Disney Springs has great shopping. Which is a good way to kill time between delicious snacks!
Listen to live music:
There are many stages across Disney Springs that will have live music just playing. If you're full from a delicious meal, or maybe just need a few minutes to chill I recommend hanging out and listening to some live music.
The air balloon:
I grew up in Florida, and I have been to Disney Springs many times however, I have actually never been on the balloon. I feel like the balloon is the most iconic thing from Disney Springs so I keep telling myself that next time I go to Disney Springs I have to try it out. So if you are going to Disney Springs I suggest you take a ride on the iconic helium balloon.
4.) Closing Thoughts
I love Disney Springs, it is a great way to get a taste of Disney without paying the cost of admission. Free parking, great food, and tons of Disney stores and things to do. If you are taking a family trip to Orlando anytime soon I highly suggest stopping by and at least spending an evening there
I'm just a small-town girl who built a blog that changed my life and now I'm sharing my life to hopefully help you realize you are capable and worthy of your dream life.
